Background

Summers attended Hamilton High School and Academy of Music in Los Angeles.[2] He would regularly be invited to participate in activities taking place in the school's music academy. His management team recorded a videotape of Summers's performances, which they hoped would help the singer land a recording contract. He was signed to Capitol Records.[2] He started with Harold Dixon and Robert Reynolds rapping when he realized he could sing. He met Harold and Robert while attending Hamilton High and the trio wrote songs night after night until one day in the studio Houston began to sing and landed himself a record deal.

Suicide attempt/self-injury And Musical Comeback

Before a 2005 London show, Summers suffered an emotional breakdown and reportedly tried to commit suicide by jumping from a window while under the influence of PCP. When people in his entourage stopped him, he was restrained and locked in a first floor room. While in that room, Summers gouged his left eye out with a plastic fork.[3] After the incident, Summers was arrested by London police and was put in rehab for 2 weeks. After the rehab, Houston went home to Los Angeles and apologized for the incident. He is now on the verge of starting his musical career back, looking for new management. In may 2008 Houston broke his silence over the incident and granted Hoodnews a exclusive interview where he discussed his eye injury and gang rape in prision.[4]In the same year two unreleased songs leaked called faded and so fine.In june 2009 Houston did another interview with Hoodnews confirming that he was making a comeback and looking for new management[5].Houston is currently working on a feature documentary and a new album, a preview of the documentary and a preview of a new song was released in 2010.
